As a second-time mama, know all too well how quickly the infant & toddler stages pass us by. One day we're hanging on for dear life and the next, there's a quiet in the house that feels new and foreign. Where did our tiny children go? Well that's why family photography is possibly the most valuable heirloom you can pass on to your babies. My family portrait sessions are not rushed, but guided to fully allow your family to open up let me tell your story. My family photos of you are focused on mama loving on her babies and dad's steady presence that holds you all together! They are about preserving the way your family feels right in this moment. It leaves room for your family to be documented in the breathtaking magic of this season.
I bring a calm presence with me into your session, often times praying for your family on my way to your session. Since becoming a mother myself, I know just what a task it is getting everyone ready and out the door in time for anything. My style is very laid back while preserving the entire story of your family. My background in engineering also gives me a keen edge in attention to detail as well as ensuring a smooth portrait experience for you.

STYLING & PLANNING
Preparing for your session should feel exciting! As soon as your deposit is paid and contract completed, we will start chatting about your vision for your photos, or what this season of motherhood feels like. I often text with my clients after booking and am widely available for consultation. You will receive my session planning guide to address wardrobe & location planning!

FAMILY-CENTERED PORTRAITS
My portrait sessions range anywhere from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours. I shoot until I feel confident in the gallery I can deliver to your family! I'm always up for any posing ideas you have, and I will ask at the end of your session if you'd like any more portrait combinations.
Lauren Kay's Photography maternity sessions include the entire family, even your pup if you'd like! Mama will have individual portraits taken of her in between full family shots. The flow is very flexible.
ONLINE GALLERY
& ALBUM DESIGN
Your online gallery will be available to you within 4 weeks from your session date. I hand-pick and color correct every image from your portrait session. I'm looking for the tender in-between moments of you snuggling and kissing your older children or softly resting into your partner.
Lauren Kay's Photography offers complimentary heirloom album design after your gallery has been delivered for LKP Collections or albums that are added on later.
